Experience that have involved with inbound marketing since 1995.
The term “inbound” was unfamiliar when the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan had reached at 5 million annually in 2003, the year we started the business. In 2008, Japan Tourism Agency was established as an agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to stimulate tourism. At the time, travel has changed to “industry” from “entertainment.”
The number had reached at 10 million in 2013. The inbound tourists outweighed the Japanese outbound tourists in 2015. Finally, 30 million of the foreign tourists had visited Japan in 2019.
Though the number of foreign tourists was about to reach at 40 million in 2020, it decreased to 4 million due to the Covid-19 and it lasts until 2022.
In the midst of the pandemic, we are still trying to convey fascinating “Japan” to people around the world and revitalize the local through “interaction” and “sightseeing.”
We would like to interact with “local” and “people,” cooperate and collaborate.
